1) First and foremost, be respectful. If you don't like someone or have a beef with them, don't be a jerk about it. You don't have to love everyone, but there's no reason to be rude, either.
2) You MUST be literate. That means no one-liners, at LEAST two paragraph per post(a paragraph is accepted as being between 5 and 8sentences long), though more is generally accepted, proper grammar and spelling. Even if you're not the best speller in the world, Microsoft(and other document programs) have this wonderful device called spell check. Use it.
3) Godmoding and Powerplaying are not accepted except in situations where permission is granted, i.e. moving another character to save a post just expressing that situation.
4) There are no character limits, but we will make one if things start to get out of hand. You know how many characters you can reasonably handle.
5) Unless given permission, you character may not have any fire-lizards upon submission. You can always Impress some later.
6) Hatchings. See the Hatching thread for details.
7) Breaking the rules multiple times will get you banned. If that happens, sucks for you.
8) You MUST post you're character's profile on the pending characters board before roleplaying and it must be approved by either Dragon or any admin.
9) OOC Chatter must be kept either to the C-box at the bottom of the page, or in the general board. I dont want to see any OOC chatter in the roleplaying boards!
10) Prolonged absences. This is common sense, guys. If you're going to be gone for a while, just tell us that. If you have a huge exam coming up and have to study, just let us know. We're not going to eat you for it, but we will be rather upset if you didn't let us know. If you are inactive for a period of more than three weeks and no one has heard anything from you, whether here, over messenger, email, phone, telegram, anything, you will be deleted.
11) Because of problems we've had in the past with contacting people, when joining, you must join with a email address you check regularly and we are going to mandate that you have at least one messenger that you log into every so often. This isn't to be mean, but when people with important characters disappear out of the blue and we can't get a hold of them, it causes problems.
